Refund policy

What you’re paying for — and what you’re not.

  1. You’re paying for the rank. Every payment buys one thing: a spot on the board. You’re paying to be seen at that position — not for a service, a subscription, or any outcome. Your payment is applied to your listing the moment it completes.
  2. There are no refunds. Because your payment is spent securing a live spot on the board, all payments are final. This includes changing your mind, outbidding yourself, or deciding later that the rank wasn’t worth it.
  3. Nobody can guarantee you stay on top. That’s the essence of the platform. Anyone can pay more than you at any moment and take your spot — that’s the whole game. There is no protection from being outbid, no way to “lock in” a rank, and no refund if someone outbids you or your rank drops. Rank is the bid: whoever’s paid the most is on top, and that can change at any second.
  4. The only exception — genuine platform errors. If a payment completes but never applies to the board (for example a double charge or a technical failure on our side), contact us and we’ll make it right — by correcting your rank or refunding the erroneous charge. This is the only situation where a refund is possible.

Campaigns & fees

Demand validation campaigns have their own money rules — same logic, you’re paying for consideration, not an outcome.

  1. The $0.50 pitch entry fee is non-refundable. It’s an application fee — you’re buying the brand’s consideration, nothing more. It’s charged the moment you enter a campaign and is not returned if your pitch isn’t selected, the campaign changes, or you change your mind.
  2. The $100 campaign fee is non-refundable once the campaign goes active. Brands pay it to launch a campaign; once the campaign is live and accepting pitches it’s spent on running it. Before it goes active (or if a genuine platform error prevents it from ever launching) we’ll work with you, but once it’s live it’s final.
  3. Reward-pool vouchers are issued only for features the brand funds. The pool is brand money distributed as gift vouchers to contributors whose suggestions the brand chooses to fund. If a brand never funds a feature, no voucher is owed — the pool isn’t a participation prize.
  4. Brand-handled paid signups are between you and the brand. When a campaign opens signups on the brand’s own site, payment flows directly to the brand — we don’t process or hold that money, so we can’t refund it. Resolve those directly with the brand.

By placing a bid or entering a campaign you acknowledge that you’ve read and accept this refund policy, along with the network rules. Rank is the bid — nothing else.
